In short: Pawcket works completely offline. We do not collect, store or transmit any personal data. There is no account, no tracking and no advertising. The app has no internet access. Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play.

2. What data does the app process?

No personal data. Pawcket is a live wallpaper with a virtual pet. Everything the app remembers stays on your device only:

Game state – needs, streaks, coins, your pet's name and your settings are kept in the app's local storage. They never leave the device and are removed when you uninstall the app.
Time of day – the app reads the device clock so the living room follows day and night and the wall clock shows the right time. This value is neither stored nor transmitted.
Accelerometer – only while the wallpaper is visible, the app detects a shake gesture for play. The sensor requires no permission; readings are neither stored nor transmitted.

3. Permissions

Vibration – for the purring you can feel and short feedback when petting. Can be turned off inside the app.

The app requests no other permissions — in particular no internet access, no location, no camera and no contacts.

4. Photos

When you tap "Take a photo" in the app, an image of your pet is created and saved to your device gallery (folder "Pictures/Pawcket"). This only happens on your explicit action. Whether and with whom you share the picture is entirely your decision via your device's share dialog.

5. Purchases

Additional animal packs can be bought once through Google Play (no subscription). All payment processing is handled by Google Play; we receive no payment data and no personal data. Google's privacy policy applies. The app only stores locally which packs are unlocked.

6. Children

Pawcket collects no data at all — this of course also applies to children. The app contains no advertising and no external links other than the Google Play purchase dialogs.

7. Your rights

Since we do not process personal data, there is nothing for us to access, rectify or delete. You remove your local game state completely by uninstalling the app or clearing the app data in your Android settings. For any questions, reach us at the e-mail address above.
